About Our Calls Jake's Calls strives to produce for our customers, the most unique duck calls available anywhere. We do this by first selecting good, solid woods, many with unique grain patterns.
We then add to the uniqueness of some of our calls by laminating contrasting woods to the basic wood. Each call is turned separately with no duplicating mechanisms, making each call one-of-a-kind. A duck call from Jake's Calls will be a family treasure for years to come.
Another facet of our mission is to seek and make available to our customers Quality Useful gear and Unique Gifts for the Waterfowl Hunter.

About Each Call We Make
- Each call is individually hand turned from hardwoods selected specifically for duck calls.
- The designs vary for each call, making them each one-of-a-kind.
- Our calls are typically rubbed with multiple coats of 100% Tung Oil, inside and out, making them weatherproof and beautiful. An additional finish is added to the outside of the calls to give the calls additional weather protection.
- The tone board and reed are commercial molded plastic and easily trimmed and replaced. The tone boards are not wooden and will not be affected by the elements.
- The calls are designed for lanyards and the stopper and barrel are joined with double o-rings making a tight and secure seal.
